612 N Main is a podcast for the Northwestern Kentucky – Southwestern Indiana region. Our’s is a strong heritage built on amazing community servants and outstanding organizations. Here we continue the historical tradition of family, charity, entrepreneurship and maybe a bit of mischievous fun along the way.
But why 612 N. Main? Well …its home. 612 N. Main St is the location where the podcast is conceived, recorded, edited and otherwise produced. It also represents the “home” or community concept which is the center of this show.
612 N. Main is produced and hosted by Brent Bridges, a transplanted Hendersonian with ties to the region dating back to the early 80’s. Brent’s interest in preserving the rich heritage offered by our area began when he heard local journalist, Chuck Stinnett, give an oral history of Henderson at one of the first Henderson Leadership Initiative meetings. From Colonel Richard Henderson to Mr. Ray Preston it became clear that there are GREAT stories that must be told!
From that time until now Brent has endeavored to provide those that carry the “spirit of community” a mechanism to pay it forward. While some efforts have worked and others failed, 612 N. Main will stand for those who wish to share their stories as our community moves ever forward.
